Are elders needed?

What are the offices of the church? The Bible says there are two offices, elders or overseers and deacons (1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1). What do you think? What is your view on elders and deacons? What are the functions of both offices?

What do you value in a church? As I ponder on the values of Ekklesia, I, Jonathan, began to think about what I value. The other day I was reading Values-Driven Leadership by Aubrey Malphurs and the book directed me to Acts 2:31-38 to look at what the early church values. My values in church are pretty similar, but I am interested in hearing about what you value. Share your thoughts about what you value in the church.

What does it mean?

What does Ekklesia mean? The answer is...church in Greek. But what is church? Some say a building, a body or group, a congregation, or something else. What does mean?
